Lucca and the Garfagnana

Our tour proposal will take you to discover Pisa with the two most famous and known squares. On board a Vespa you will discover Piazza dei Miracoli with the Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Cavalieri ancient political center of the Pisan Republic with the Palazzo della Carovana in the center where the Scuola Normale Superiore is located and the Palazzo dell'Orologio rebuilt on the base of two ancient towers of the Della Gherardesca family.

Without forgetting the elegant Lungarni decanted in Italian poetry with the middle of the Ponte di Mezzo and piazza Garibaldi, the entrance to the elegant Borgo Stretto with its beautiful arcades and the characteristic Piazza delle Vettovaglie with adjacent square of the fruit and vegetable market, to reach the "Tutto Mondo" mural by Keith Haring, with its 30 dancing figures hymn to peace and hope in humanity, one of the last works of the artist, the most important modern work in Pisa.

After the visit of Pisa with our Vespa we will go in the direction of Lucca known for the renaissance walls that surrounds the old town and the cobbled streets. The wide tree-lined walks on top of these 16th and 17th century bastions are very popular.
Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, oval shaped, is built on the pre-existing site of a Roman amphitheater. The Cathedral of San Martino, the Cathedral of Lucca and after a short visit on board the Vespa towards the Garfagnana for a stop at the Ponte del Diavolo and the discovery of small historic villages and taste renowned specialties of the area.
